Amazing experience - you will not regret this!

We absolutely loved this tour. Raul was an outstanding guide and our captain navigated the water very well- especially since there were swells from a hurricane. The ride to the location is about an hour to an hour and a half. Once there we immediately saw several whale sharks and tons of manta rays!! It was incredible! You jump in with your partner while your guide takes you over to where the whale sharks are. Raul was the best! He got us right up to whale sharks so we could swim right along with them. He pointed out all the manta rays all while taking the most unforgettable videos and pictures! After the dive was completed, we went to Isla Mujeres and hung out in the shallow waters with our group, which we also enjoyed. Raul made delicious conch ceviche too. We would recommend this tour to anyone!

Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, Dolphins & Amazing Videos!

had a great time. I was able to do three swims (but they would’ve let me do more) and I got up close to whale sharks and manta rays! We even saw a pod of dolphins on the way out.

The stop at Isla Mujeres for lunch on the boat was a great end the the tour. I don’t eat fish and they made me a delicious vegetarian ceviche just for me, plus they served sandwiches and plenty of water and soda.

I just received my GoPro videos and they’re fantastic! They turned out even better than I expected and it made such a difference that I could just be in the moment during my swims not worrying about recording them.

A word of warning: take Dramamine an hour before you go on the water!! I was the only one on my boat who did and almost everyone else got sick to the point where a few people only did one swim and had to lie down the rest of the time. Even those who had a lot of experience on the water ended up sick. Granted we had rough water my morning, but still, you don’t want seasickness to ruin your tour!

Amazing crew, Amazing experience

We just finished this tour and to say it was an amazing tour would be an understatement!! The pickup at our hotel was prompt and the driver was very nice and accommodating. We arrived at the dock, had a light breakfast and then headed out with Isaac and Cindy. They were the most amazing guides!! Very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. You could tell how passionate they were about the whale sharks. The boat looked was very clean and comfortable with a ton of shade. We got to the area where the whale sharks were and we all got an opportunity to swim with them multiple times! Cindy was our guide in the water and she was amazing at spotting the whale sharks and guiding us in the right direction. Along with the sharks there were also countless manta rays which were huge!! We had multiple opportunities to go in the water and we were able to get very close to the whale sharks and manta rays. Definitely take seasickness medication! We were very glad we did. After everyone was finished swimming with the whale sharks, we went to the island where we swam and enjoyed some delicious ceviche that Cindy made! It was the best ceviche we ever had. There are a lot of whale shark tour companies out there, but this crew went above and beyond to make it the most fantastic experience.

Best Whale Shark Excursion - Book It!

Our family of 4 did a whale shark excursion with Mexico Whale Shark on Sept 1, 2020. We had an absolutely amazing experience! Five stars isn’t enough!
The shuttle picked us up at our resort at the exact time it said it would be there and drove us to Cancun where the boat was located. Upon arrival, we were served a nice light breakfast and given instructions for our tour with Issac and Nico ... both were awesome! We were also blessed to be paired up with 4 very lovely people, 2 from Miami and 2 from Boston.
When we arrived at the whale shark feeding area (about an hour or so trip), we immediately saw numerous whale sharks and manta rays feeding on the surface! Taking turns of 2 people at a time, each group was able to spend plenty of time snorkeling with the whale sharks and rays. Each one of us came face to face and/or within a few feet of both animals! An experience we will never forget! Most of us got a bit seasick a time or two while idling in the boat, so be sure to take some Dramamine beforehand.
After the snorkeling with the animals, we were treated to an awesome lunch of ceviche and chips at a small island where the water way perfect and not too deep.
The ride back to the dock was beautiful and none of us wanted to get off the boat. I’d say this was a once in a lifetime experience, but if I ever have the chance to do it again, I’d pick Mexico Whale Shark and Issac and Nico again! Thank you for the amazing memories!
